Thermal Imagers
We offer a selection of thermal screen makers (thermofax) for imaging our thermal screens. The new Panenka thermal imager as well as older refurbished machines are available. Replacement parts, bulbs and belts, etc. also available for older models.
Thermal imagers, also known as transparency makers, use a combination of heat, light and pressure which 'burns' away the screen backing to produce an 'imaged' screen. Carbon based artwork must always be used in this process - that is a good photocopy, a laser printout, artwork created with a carbon pen or any other design with carbon in the copy.
Panenkas are the only new thermal screen makers on the market, these machines will image our 70 and 100 mesh thermal screens up to a width of 11.5 inches.
